Members enjoy a sports betting Super Sunday

The first weekend after Keith's break was very successful for members of Elliott's Premier Sports Betting:

GOLF: In the Alfred Dunhill Championship (from only 3 selections), RAFAEL CABRERA BELLO was given EW at 125/1 finished T4th to give members a huge EW profit:
"T25th here in both 2006 (1st GIR) and 2007 (4th GIR), so he clearly has the long game for this tough track. He played consistently well on the Challenge tour in 2008 with a win and four other top 5s, including T3rd in Kenya. He had an excellent junior record in Spain, and showed flashes of form when previously on the full tour in 2007. Now with more experience under his belt, he could well establish himself this season. His T10th in the Madrid Masters was encouraging and he will take inspiration from the 125/1 win here two years ago of his fellow countryman, Alvaro Quiros."

In America, the sole bet in the Merrill Lynch shootout on GREG NORMAN and CAMILO VILLEGAS was also a winning EW bet when they finished 3rd at 9/1.

FOOTBALL: There were winning bets in both the TV football games. The day's best bet, CHELSEA v WEST HAM UNDER 2.5 GOALS WON 6/5:
"West Ham are not a good side, however they can defend effectively and there have been under 2.5 goals in their last 5 away games - they include two games against two other top four sides (0-2 at Old Trafford and a 0-0 draw at Anfield). With Chelsea unable to break teams down at home and without Carvalho, Essien, Joe Cole and Drogba they have had some dodgy results in the Champions League losing 1-3 at Roma, losing at home in the Carling Cup after a 1-1 draw with Burnley, and in the Premier League losing at home to Arsenal and Liverpool and drawing 0-0 with Newcastle. This West Ham side can defend away from home and frustrate with a solid shot stopping goalie and their two banks of four in a 4-4-2 system with Cole and Bellamy to 'hit on the break'."

The sole bet in the PORTSMOUTH v NEWCASTLE game was unusual with MORE THAN 1.5 SECOND HALF GOALS WON 11/10:
"In Portsmouth's three home Premier League games and one UEFA Cup home game under Tony Adams, there have been 2 first half goals and 14 in the second half, and Pompey have conceded exactly two goals in each of those 4 games. That is a pattern that shows Pompey are better going forward than defending, and that goals are most likely at Fratton Park after the half time break. Newcastle have had 2 successive away 0-0 results after three away games in each of which they conceded two goals - but with Defoe and Crouch a real threat for Pompey and Michael Owen still scoring for Newcastle it's likely that as the teams tire and the game opens up there will be second half goals, especially as Collucini, the Newcastle CB looks slow, particularly on the turn."
So in Tony Adams' 5 home games there have now been 19 goals, with 17 of them in the second half!

AMERICAN FOOTBALL: Steve, our NFL expert, kept up his winning best bet run when his sole American Footall bet, given on Friday morning, won as Houston Txans beat the Titans.
