Tiger Woods, the Nappy Factor and Keith Elliott

When Keith Elliott's first book was published in 1995, he stressed that golf was a 'mental game', and emphasised that "players need to control their thought processes... the golf punter needs to be able to spot when a player's confidence is likely to be high."

He went on to create many new concepts including Positive Mental Associations (PMA), the effects of Landmark Birthdays, Mental Let Down (MLD), Inspiration By Comparison (IBC), the Funeral Factor, and of course in 1996 he introduced The Nappy Factor.

This emphasised how the performance of a golfer can be significantly improved after the birth of a son, especially a first son.

Son Shine can make Tiger even better

Tiger Woods' first son was born earlier this month and in the Daily Telegraph their golf correspondent Mark Reason wrote a major article in which he emphasised the importance of the 'nappy factor' after "it was identified by betting guru Keith Elliott more than 10 years ago".

Keith's opinions are always respected and the repeated use of the new insights his writing brought to the world of golf form is testimony to his influence.

Keith's introductions of avant garde concepts and his 'mental skills' approach to golf (and sports) betting is widely acknowledged and his opinions are widely respected - it's no wonder that anyone typing golf tipster into Google would find his name and this service appear as the very FIRST entry... !!

The Professional continues to defy the bookies

No doubt about it, members of The Professional service enjoyed a fantastic time in 2008. There were no fewer than 10 winning months from 12, a steady stream of winners and an overall profit in excess of £13,000 (or 65 points to level stakes).

"I have to say I found the service everything you said it would be... shrewd and selective, highly profitable... as you say professional by name, and professional by nature." P.G. Oxon

And that kind of comment was typical of the feedback we received throughout a very lucrative year. Members enjoyed a healthy strike rate (around 40%), a clear and straightforward betting style (average of 2-3 bets per week, all win singles, no odds-on) and a bucketload of profit.

But that was last year... what about 2009? Well, it's been business as usual. The month of January was extremely quiet due to the poor weather causing the abandonment of so many National Hunt fixtures. Only 7 bets were advised but, as per usual, a profit was achieved.

February began in similar vein as the cold snap lingered but once a break in the weather came... three winners from the only four bets (W9/4, W11/4, W5/2) ensured members were winning once again - taking the year's profit to a healthy £1,350 for every member!

So if you want a selective service, not too many bets, decent odds-against prices, a healthy strike rate - in other words, a professional service - look no further. This is the service for YOU.

Tsonga and Robredo add to tennis tipster profits

Members of Goldcall's Tennis Betting Service are celebrating another hugely profitable week's betting.

Having started 2009 in blistering form with outright tournament winners Marin Cilic W13/2 (Chennai), Victoria Azarenka W4/1 (Brisbane), David Nalbandian W13/2 (Sydney) and Fernando Gonzalez W11/4 (Vina Del Mar) there was even more outright sucess at the weekend.

Jo-Wilfried Tsonga W9/2 (Marseille) and then in Buenos Aires it was a perfect 1-2. Members were told to back both Tommy Robredo (9/2) and Juan Monaco (12/1) each-way for this event... and both made the final guaranteeing a perfect return on the event.

Robredo W9/2 and Monaco paid out each-way at 12/1. How's that for a result!

Six outright tournament winners this year

That's six outright tournament winners in 2009 (plus three runners-up at 10/3, 12/1 & 20/1) to make it one of our best ever starts to a tennis season. The profit is just shy of £2,000 in a little over 7 weeks betting.

"It's all about comprehensive form study, an in-depth knowledge of the sport and a shrewd bet selection. These ingredients go to make this the most successful tennis betting service around", said Matthew Walton, the head of the service.

And there's plenty more to come with two big Masters Series events in Indian Wells and Miami next up for the world's best players.

"Preston are a strong home side, have momentum, while Burnley look vulnerable at the back."

DOUBLE ON THESE TWO 4 STAR BETS - W18/5

STOCKPORT to beat Southend W1/1
"Southend's players will be mentally drained after Wednesday - and have not scored in their last 4 on the road!"

ARSENAL to beat Hull W4/6
"Hull will be without regular midfield ball winner Boateng, they have lost at home to the other top 7 teams they have met (0-5 v Wigan, 0-3 v Chelsea, 0-1 v Aston Villa). Arsenal have three good fit strikers in Van Persie, Bendtner and Adebayor"

No wonder one of our high-staking clients had such a good day

Members enjoy a sports betting Super Sunday

The first weekend after Keith's break was very successful for members of Elliott's Premier Sports Betting:

GOLF: In the Alfred Dunhill Championship (from only 3 selections), RAFAEL CABRERA BELLO was given EW at 125/1 finished T4th to give members a huge EW profit:
"T25th here in both 2006 (1st GIR) and 2007 (4th GIR), so he clearly has the long game for this tough track. He played consistently well on the Challenge tour in 2008 with a win and four other top 5s, including T3rd in Kenya. He had an excellent junior record in Spain, and showed flashes of form when previously on the full tour in 2007. Now with more experience under his belt, he could well establish himself this season. His T10th in the Madrid Masters was encouraging and he will take inspiration from the 125/1 win here two years ago of his fellow countryman, Alvaro Quiros."

In America, the sole bet in the Merrill Lynch shootout on GREG NORMAN and CAMILO VILLEGAS was also a winning EW bet when they finished 3rd at 9/1.

FOOTBALL: There were winning bets in both the TV football games. The day's best bet, CHELSEA v WEST HAM UNDER 2.5 GOALS WON 6/5:
"West Ham are not a good side, however they can defend effectively and there have been under 2.5 goals in their last 5 away games - they include two games against two other top four sides (0-2 at Old Trafford and a 0-0 draw at Anfield). With Chelsea unable to break teams down at home and without Carvalho, Essien, Joe Cole and Drogba they have had some dodgy results in the Champions League losing 1-3 at Roma, losing at home in the Carling Cup after a 1-1 draw with Burnley, and in the Premier League losing at home to Arsenal and Liverpool and drawing 0-0 with Newcastle. This West Ham side can defend away from home and frustrate with a solid shot stopping goalie and their two banks of four in a 4-4-2 system with Cole and Bellamy to 'hit on the break'."

The sole bet in the PORTSMOUTH v NEWCASTLE game was unusual with MORE THAN 1.5 SECOND HALF GOALS WON 11/10:
"In Portsmouth's three home Premier League games and one UEFA Cup home game under Tony Adams, there have been 2 first half goals and 14 in the second half, and Pompey have conceded exactly two goals in each of those 4 games. That is a pattern that shows Pompey are better going forward than defending, and that goals are most likely at Fratton Park after the half time break. Newcastle have had 2 successive away 0-0 results after three away games in each of which they conceded two goals - but with Defoe and Crouch a real threat for Pompey and Michael Owen still scoring for Newcastle it's likely that as the teams tire and the game opens up there will be second half goals, especially as Collucini, the Newcastle CB looks slow, particularly on the turn."
So in Tony Adams' 5 home games there have now been 19 goals, with 17 of them in the second half!

AMERICAN FOOTBALL: Steve, our NFL expert, kept up his winning best bet run when his sole American Footall bet, given on Friday morning, won as Houston Txans beat the Titans.

"Congratulations on some fantastic football tipping this week"

This unsolicited comment above was received on Friday 14 November from Elliott's Premier Sports Betting member R.J.R. from Newcastle, who went on to say "I have joined your service recently and having won good money on our recent superb golf bets, extended my subscription period. These gains from the football will help to pay for a Happy Christmas."

Why was this member so pleased?

Keith has advised 5 winners from 7 football bets over the last three days - WON 7/4, WON 9/5, WON 1/1, WON 7/2, WON 7/1 for a combined level stakes profit of 13.05pts!

Here's some of the website analysis about these bets:

Tue 11 Nov: CARLOS VELA to score (Arsenal v Wigan) WON 7/4
"This guy is the nearest player to Robbie Fowler in his prime that I've ever seen. He's a brilliant natural finsiher with real pace, a potent left foot, superb timing and a coolness in the box."

Wed 12 Nov: DUNDEE UTD to beat Hibernian WON 1/1 (this is only the 4th bet to receive 4 stars under the recently revised staking plan - 3 have won)
"United have won their last 4 home games, they have played the 'Old Firm' twice this season and are unbeaten. Hibs lost at the weekend at home and are in poorer form than the home side."

Wed 12 Nov: SPURS to beat Liverpool WON 9/5
"At home Spurs will be the more motivated... Benitez will not be upset to leave this competition. Liverpool will play a reserve side as Benitez focusses on their early Saturday game at Bolton."

Thu 13 Nov: HT/FT DRAW/TRANMERE (Tranmere v Accrington) WON 7/2
"Rovers have played three home Cup ties this season - they have won all three 1-0 with a second half goal... in their last two home League One games thay won both 2-0 after it was 0-0 at half time."

Thu 13 Nov: LAST GOALSCORER: CHRIS SHUKER (Tranmere v Accrington) WON 7/1
"He's a key game breaker capable of turning a tight game... he's been Last Goalscorer in 2 of Rovers last 4 home games and in one of their last 3 away games."
